Megan’s Story

How Megan is working to future-proof her agility career.

Meet Megan.

Megan has been an elite agility handler for years. Speed, endurance, resilience—for the first 25 years of her life it was simply there there.

But as time went on, something shifted. Sore feet, aching knees, a stiff back—after every trial, she felt it creeping in. It wasn’t one big injury, just a slow accumulation of wear and tear. What does agility look like for me if I don’t do something now?” she wondered.

She knew if she wanted to continue competing at the highest level—not just for another year, but into her 30s and beyond—something had to change.

Megan realized that if she wanted her team to stay in the game, she had to. She needed to prepare her own body like an athlete. Strength training, mobility work, and targeted conditioning became part of her routine. The result?

She’s still injury-free.

And she didn’t just focus on workouts—she dialed in her nutrition, too. Without obsessing over weight loss, she prioritized whole, nutrient-dense foods that gave her steady energy throughout the day. More vegetables, legumes, and fermented foods helped her perform at her best, fuelling her body for agility and longevity.

Megan isn’t just preventing injuries—she’s future-proofing her career. Because success in this sport isn’t about talent alone—it’s about commitment. And she’s committed to staying strong, pain-free, and unstoppable.
