Sarah’s Story

Training Smart: How Sarah proves persistence is the real power.

Meet Sarah

Sarah’s fitness journey isn’t about chasing massive goals—it’s about something even more important: keeping her body strong so she can continue doing what she loves.

Living with chronic pain and illness has forced her to adjust her expectations. But instead of seeing that as a reason to give up, she’s used it as motivation to be even more intentional with her self-care.

Because when life is heavy, when stress piles up, when her body doesn’t cooperate—that’s when showing up for herself matters most.

Her training is heavily focused on finding the right muscle engagement, breaking down strengthening exercises into their smallest, most precise components. By building from this space, she’s able to create lasting strength without overwhelming her body.

It’s not about over-ego’ing her fitness or smashing through intense workouts for the sake of stress management—it’s about gently and kindly reminding her body, “I’ve got you.”

This approach is not just effective, but incredibly powerful. I see it everyday, handlers adding bricks to the foundation and being overwhelmed with their progress.

I often remind clients to think about themselves the way they think about their dogs. If your dog had an injury or struggled with something, would you ignore it and carry on? If you’re reading this, I know you wouldn’t. You’d adjust, support them, and meet them where they are—whether it’s helping them through a setback, modifying their training, or changing their diet to better support their needs.

You deserve the same consideration. One more time, you are half the team and deserve the same consideration.

It’s easy to care for our bodies when everything feels good. But true commitment is showing up even when it’s hard.

Sarah doesn’t just train for agility—she trains for pain management, resilience, and the ability to keep moving forward. And that? That’s real success.
