From knee pain to keeping pace—how Rachael rebuilt strength and confidence.

Meet Rachael.

Her agility dog, Friday, is blazing fast. To keep up, Rachael needed more strength, control, and confidence in her movement. But after some knee issues, running felt… rough.

She could’ve accepted that discomfort as “part of aging” or let frustration win—but she didn’t. Instead, when ads for chair yoga started popping up on her phone, she took it as a sign to take action, determined to stay as far away from that path as possible. Instead, we worked together to rebuild her strength in a way that didn’t wreck her knees.

She started with the beginner series (and let’s just say, she left some hilarious feedback along the way). But she stuck with it. She built stability, refined her running mechanics indoors, and slowly worked up to sprinting outside again.

What’s made the difference? Having a clear path forward, knowing her workouts are for agility (hello motivation), and knowing she has support in her corner.

And now? She’s not just keeping up with Friday—she’s thriving. Every run feels smoother, faster, better. And Friday? She’s loving every second of it.

“So the last couple of weeks I’ve been running Friday and I’m like. Hmmm this course is pretty easy. I’m there. I’m clear. I leave. She does her thing. I make the blind. Maybe things are a bit closer together I think.

Then I realize. No. Actually it’s me!! I’m not the problem!

I am stronger and faster and I can feel it and I’m not dying half way through. Because of all this stuff I have been doing. I can carve the threadle. I can push the line. My movement is just more powerful and therefore more clear. OMG. We just might get there. So thanks Liz!”
