General Questions
Canine Handler Fitness is an online platform offering specialized fitness programs designed specifically for dog handlers. Our programs focus on improving agility, strength, and overall performance to help handlers excel in dog sports. Our dog handler fitness training is built around the real physical demands of the ring, improving speed, reaction time, and stamina so your body supports your handling, not limits it.

For access to our comprehensive range of courses, the All-Access Pass is available for just $39 per month. You have the flexibility to cancel your subscription at any time by reaching out to our dedicated support team.
Start with short sprint efforts even 20–30 meters and build from there. Pair that with simple strength work like squats, lunges, and core exercises so your body can support that speed. You don’t need to overcomplicate it — you just need to start where you are and build consistently.
Program-Specific Questions
All our courses offer a comprehensive range of exercises, including weighted, bodyweight, and band resistance workouts, as well as speed and agility drills using an agility ladder. To fully participate, we recommend having one 12-rung agility ladder, sets of dumbbells in 5lbs, 10lbs, and 15lbs, along with this band set.
Absolutely! Our courses are designed to accommodate handlers of all fitness levels, from beginners to advanced. Each workout is scalable and can be adapted to meet your individual fitness level and goals, ensuring a personalized experience for everyone. We also include dedicated injury prevention training for dog handlers, helping you build resilience and stay active at any fitness level.

Yes, they help you build the base that everything else sits on. Zone 2 cardio improves your ability to recover between runs, keeps your energy more steady, and supports your overall conditioning. It’s not flashy, but it makes a big difference in how you feel across an entire trial day.
Stamina comes from a mix of cardio and strength. Zone 2 cardio builds your base, while strength training helps your body handle repeated efforts. When those are in place, you’re not just surviving the day, you’re staying sharp and moving well from your first run to your last.
Start at the right level and build up gradually. Focus on doing movements well before making them harder or faster. Strength, control, and consistency are what protect you. When your body is prepared for the demands you’re placing on it, you can train and compete without constantly getting sidelined.

Once enrolled in a program, you’ll receive access to our app, where you can view and follow along with the course materials, watch instructional videos, and participate in discussions with fellow handlers.
